Walkthrough[]

Flight Ring — Number 2 flight ring - note the two bright white markers at the top of the ring.

After getting the quest, talk to Aegir, then talk to Yornduf. There is a cut scene that shows the first few rings, each numbered with a corresponding white marker. Flying to locate the order of the rings before doing the flight test may make it easier to succeed, although there is time to fly through each ring. Start to fly right after clicking "The test is mine", which is when the timer begins. If necessary, talk to Yornduf to retake the test until succeeding. Talk to Yornduff, and finally to Aegir to collect the reward.

"You have proven yourself in combat time and time again, and I know you can carry out orders well. Are you ready, [Player Name], for the next step?"

"You're sending me to the Abyss?"

"Almost. Your entry to the Abyss requires one final test...the most important test.

"Hmm, I didn't think a little test would scare you! Or is it the prospect of the Abyss?

Yornduf

"Ah, you're here for the flight test, right? Aegir mentioned you.

You'll be able to join the legions fighting in the Abyss as soon as you pass this test."

"What do I do?"

"Look up. See those big floating rings up above the Fortress?

There are six rings at different heights.

You have to pass through all six rings within a time limit."

"How much time?"

"I start you out with one minute. Whenever you pass through a ring, your flight speed increases as well the time for the flight overall. One minute should be more than enough

You will fall after the timer runs out, so watch your remaining time. If you don't think you'll finish, find somewhere to land safely.

Do you know the route?"

"I think so."

"All right, I'll start the timer when you say the word."

"The test is mine!"

"Why are you talking to me? The test has already begun.

Summary[]

Brigade General Aegir said the last test for Abyss entry is the flight test. He told you to meet Yornduf, the Flight Transporter of the Fortress, to take the test.

You listened to Yornduf's explanation and took the test. When you returned, Aegir told you that you were qualified to go to the Abyss.
