In Aion the Clerics healing is a bit slow but the health gained makes up for it. As in most games the Cleric can get into almost every group which makes the get throught the story faster, But in Aion a Cleric can solo their way throught very easy. If you have a friend who is a Mage you can get throught parts of the game even fast since you have their heavy damage with your back up healing. A friend of mine went as Spirit Master and we made it to a area where lvl 18-19's where fighting and we where only a t about lvl 13, which made lvling alot easy and the money we made was better.

Picture Misleading (Scabbarded sword)[]

The Priest jpg image is misleading since the character is wearing a sword which according to the text he cannot use

I'm liking the awesome new character portraits from the wallpapers by all the classes... now we need one for glad, sm, chant, and cleric. gogoo~ also i have a name now ^^ Randompasserby 20:47, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I have to take the backgrounds out of the rest of the portraits, it will take some time :) Shegreen 13:08, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
A lot of these concept art pictures are pre-1.5 pics. Back in 1.3 (I think) sorcs were able to wear staves, assassins were able to use polearms, and clerics were able to use swords... Quite a change from the game as we know it, but a lot of these old concept arts of the classes still linger. I guess getting NCsoft to do new concept art is like pulling teeth... Shegreen is doing a good job of finding and uploading appropriate images now though... when she's not calling me a stubborn brute. I feel somewhere on these pages, the old ways should be listed, but I am not quite sure how or where to list them. Thanks for your work Random. I like the way you string together pages and make the wording 'pop' with some common sense. Do you think when you have time, you could look at some of the area pages? Specifically Pandaemonium, Sanctum, Asmodae, etc. These pages could really use a wordsmith that can fill the page out with some good information. Rappy 19:28, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
lawl ^^ <3
It's ok, I think I've now grown accustomed to your brutish ways ;) Shegreen 06:46, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
um.. i guess i'll take a look at them but i can't say how well i can write stuff for those pages. i've never actually stepped foot in sanctum for one ^^... but we'll see. :D Randompasserby 18:08, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
...blahblah i only actually did the class pages because i felt i knew enough about all of them to do so. getting killed by them and killing all the classes == fast learning ^^ Randompasserby 18:09, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
You don't have to do elyos stuff/cities, I'll take care of them when I can, since I'm elyos, and a wordsmith too (though I guess Rappy wouldn't admit that lol). We have a lot of Asmo stuff that needs taking care of, plus tons of items need to be added too :) Shegreen 23:13, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

(reset indent)Randompasserby - where ever you can help is most appreciated. There is more than enough gaps to keep us all very busy. So if you have additions for either Elyos or Asmodian pages that would be fine. Surriela 23:58, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

new section for dp[]

considering adding sections with dp skills and their descriptions for every class, since afaik dp skills are usually centered around what that class is suppose to do best. (cleric massive heal, templar invincibility, sorc supermassiveoneshot, etc.) any thoughts?

and of course i forget to log in. Randompasserby 03:39, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
Umm, touching on this on their page should be fine, but I'd rather a full work up of skills to be on another page. Specifically List:Cleric skills will be an automatic page with skill descriptions that will look similar to the 'K' skill list in-game. To do that, we would need to work on adding the specific skill pages to correspond. If you were to add the 4 DP skills to the page, I would ask that all you do is show the icon and the linked naming of the skill (using {{skill}} would do just this) to the page that should be created to explain the skill (a lot of work to do, I know). Something like a list below.
Comments? Rappy 03:51, July 24, 2010 (UTC)
that will work..... except i don't know how to link stuff haha :D i did try to update the brilliant protection page... but no idea how to link it or if i did it right or anything.. just used the stoneskin2 page as a template and changed it accordingly. do skill pages need trivia or usage info? or just the skill des in-game? zomg i know nothing donteatmeplz ;_; Randompasserby 11:35, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
Umm, I haven't gotten the set-up quite down for the skill pages. I think a usage section would just state the obvious, unless you're thinking of a strategy section... Brilliant Protection I looks good. I still feel there is more needed to flush out skill pages. Obviously there needs to be a section on where to buy/get the skill as well as which book, etc you learn it from as well. Drop me ideas... I could use a few. As far as linking them... with the icon... just use what was shown above {{skill|Brilliant Protection I}} Rappy 19:02, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
i agree that skill page looks like it needs more stuff... it looks kinda lonely ^^ the reason i added that note thing originally was probably because i'm more used to guildwars wiki? i played a bit of gw before this and the notes/skillprogress/strategy/related skills stuff was always very helpful for me and trivia was fun too. so... in comparison to aion wiki... i realize that there's not much in the way of trivia for aion lol. but there may be certain things not told by the description so a notes section might be nice (ie. templar 2k dp skill can actually be resisted. if it's resisted, the dmg reduction shield and reflect damage buff do not apply on the temp) and... related skills are interesting but may not be particularly useful. so not too sure about that. but skill progression may be useful for skills that have multiple versions of themselves (ie. healing light 1 2 3, etc). so maybe a section with some sort of table that shows level vs effect? and changing the page name to just "healing light"? i dunno if that would hurt or help ^^. (also this is the first time i actually went into a wiki and started editting. so ty for all your help so far :D) Randompasserby 11:29, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
zomgwalloftext. also... link test~ Chastisement of Darkness I <~ templar 2k Randompasserby 11:34, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
The idea was to take progression skills and list them under the heading without the roman numerals, IE: Smite and list the progression there while linking to the actual skill page too. That way you can link Smite in text without appending a I, II, IV, etc to the link (unless talking about a certain one... like comparing Penance 2 to Penance 3) I believe my Sandbox still has Light of Renewal there with a Similar skills section. Possibly a small spot to explain what skills work well with others (synergy)? IE... Blessed Shield + Healing Wind for 5k+ AoE heals? I am open for suggestions. Rappy 11:38, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
