Sveinn has collected many secrets by overhearing people who ignore his presence. Give him some money and use the secret he tells you to make even more money.

Walkthrough[]

The amount of money given Sveinn will determine the reward and what must be done. With the 500 kinah choice, Sveinn gives you the warehouse key, which is taken to Grall to collect your reward. With the 5,000 choice, simply talk to three NPCs. With the 50,000 choice, hunt a <Savvy Daru> until one drops the Holy Pendant. Take it to Bolverk to collect your reward.

For the money spent, the 5,000 Kinah option gives the best return (quadruple the Kinah and 100k XP). The 50,000 Kinah option gives the highest XP for a loss of 10k Kinah. This is the best option for those wanting to level quicker.

If you give me some Kinah, I'll share one with you.

Sveinn - 500 Kinah

"500 Kinah? Is that all? You aren't as generous as I thought.

Whatever, I don't care. Money is money, right? Hand it over!"

"Here's 500 Kinah."

"For 500 Kinah, I'll tell you a small secret. Heh, a semi-secret...

I found this in the street. But if a beggar tried to return it to the owner, he would accuse me of being a thief. So I just kept it.

Would you do what it takes to find the truth? More importantly, would you give me 5000 Kinah?"

"Here's 5000 Kinah."

"Since he'll deny it, you can't just ask about this. Getting him to admit the truth all depends on you, [Player Name].

Find trade broker Hugorunerk and tell him this:

"I saw you coming back from the road to Altgard at midnight. I also know what the box contains."

"What does that mean?"

"The Trader's Port of Call is accessed via the Road to Altgard. That's where the airship of the Black Cloud Traders arrives.

It's strange that a member of the Quairerk Traders would go to the Black Cloud Trader's Port of Call, and then return with a big box.

This secret is so serious that I am unsure whether to reveal it at all.

But I believe that it may be good for him if I tell the secret to you [Player Name]."

"The Protector of Divinity is supposed to wear a divine pendant. The High Priest himself presented Bolverk with the image of Lord Azphel.

Do you need a special prayer from the Protector of Divinity? Or perhaps another needs looking over?"

Summary[]

Sveinn said that he knew all sorts of secrets because everyone spoke their mind as if he wasn't even there.

He offered tell you a secret if you gave him money. So you gave him money and the secret to the source. You actually earned more money than you gave him.
