Walkthrough[]

This quest involves two stages. First, you must find and defeat <Firescar> during the day (7am - 9pm) to obtain the <Yellowish Ring>. Second, return to <Firescar> at night. She seems surprised you found her ring on a Kerubar and asks you to return it to Thersites at Sky Canal in Sanctum.

Initial Dialogue[]

Firescar

"Wait! Stop!

That ring! Let me look at your ring!

This is mine. I've looked everywhere for this ring. Where did you find it?"

"A Kerubar gave it to me."

"A Kerubar picked it up after I lost it? I've been so worried.

I can't remember when I lost it. Something's wrong with me.

I pass out after sunset, and wake up outside my home in the morning. That's why I don't remember things."

"Is the ring important?"

"My love gave it to me. It's a secret, but I am engaged to a Daeva named Tersites.

I never demanded marriage. All I wanted was his love. He went to Sanctum to get permission to marry me.

I can't cause him any more pain. I must set him free."

"I'm sick. I sleepwalk at night and can't remember I what I do.

Marriage is impossible for me. I...I cannot be a burden on the person I love.

Go to Sanctum, give him this ring, and tell him to forget me. Please."

"I'll do what you ask."

Reward Dialogue[]

"What's this? Why are you giving me a ring?

Firescar asked you to give it to me? Firescar? Who is Firescar?

Sorry, but do I know a Firescar?"

"She spoke of your engagement..."

"Firescar from Heiron? We were engaged? Ah, yes, I remember. I came to Sanctum for permission to marry....

And...this ring! But if she took her ring off...no...it doesn't matter.

If you see her again...tell her good-bye for me."

Summary[]

When Firescar saw the ring you got from Kerubar, she told you the ring was hers--a gift from her love.

Firescar got sick while waiting for Thersites to return from Sanctum. She asked you to deliver a message to break up with him to save him from her illness.

You went to Thersites in Sanctum, delivered her words and the ring. Thersites couldn't remember her at first, but when he did remembered, he agreed.
