'''Nezekan''', known as the Lord of Justice, is one of the [[Empyrean Lords]]. He is a follower of [[Ariel]], and after the [[Cataclysm]] became a [[Seraphim]] Lord.

== Character ==
He is fair, upright, thoughtful, and symbolized by justice and the [[Templar]] class. He is seen as reserved and prudent, but he acts swiftly once he's reached a decision.

Nezekan has amazing physical power and can endure any kind of attack. He is known for using ''Izith'', the shield of mystery. His power is the most equally matched, of all the [[Daeva]]s in [[Atreia]], with that of [[Shedim]] Lord [[Zikel]].

== History ==

When [[Ariel]] suggested peace talks with the [[Balaur|Dragon]] Lords, Nezekan followed her lead and agreed without hesitation.

Nezekan's mysterious past has been a constant source of rumors and gossip over the centuries. Some believe that he had a secret relationship with [[Triniel|Lady Triniel]], and other rumors say that the two even had a child together. It is also said that Nezekan charged [[Virkel|Brigade General Virkel]] of the [[Red Sky Legion]] to Triniel's service to protect her. But those who saw them bitterly fight each other in the opening days of the [[Abyss War]] give little credit to such thoughts. It is common knowledge that they don't get along, though they are secretive as to the reason.

When [[Deltras and Storm Legion|Deltras]] and his followers from the Legion of Storm, Nezekan's dedicated Legion, appeared in [[Asmodae]] through a rift in the [[Abyss]], [[Zikel]] caught them and attempted to make them renounce their allegiance. This was the provocation for the [[Abyss War]].

The events in Aion 4.0 reveal that the rumors about Nezekan and Triniel having a relationship before the Cataclysm were true. In fact, they even had a child together: a son named [[Kahrun]]<span style="line-height:1.5em;">. Two Empyrean Lords having an affair (not to mention a child) together was considered as one of the greatest taboos and blasphemies against [[Aion]] imaginable, and the two were thus forced to raise their son in secret. </span><span style="line-height:1.5em;">They hid him in the </span>[[Eracus Temple Cavern|Eracus Temple]]<span style="line-height:1.5em;"> in [[Eltnen]], far away from </span>[[Aion]]<span style="line-height:1.5em;">'s Eyes, until on a terrible day everything changed and the little Kahrun disappeared.</span>

<span style="line-height:1.5em;">Nezekan finally found his long lost son among the [[Reian]] people, now acting their leader. When Kahrun goes missing from[[ Kamar | Kamar]] after Tiamat's death, Nezekan panics and sets out to personally search for Kahrun under the fake identity of </span>[[Thersu]]<span style="line-height:1.5em;">. During his journey across [[Katalam]] he comes into contact with the player and, recognizing Kaisinel's handiwork in their overly gullible/naive personality, decides makes use of this and has the player assist him with finding clues on Kahrun's whereabouts. Ultimately Nezekan finds his son in the [[Infinity Shard]], unconscious and heavily beaten by [[Beritra|Beritra's]] minions, but still alive. [[ Triniel|Triniel]] however appears, and two they clash. The two [[Empyrean Lords]] discover one another again and try to help their son. They succeed in teleporting him out from the danger, then retreat. </span>

Following the events of 8.2, Nezekan took upon himself the weight of overseeing the Elyos troops in Apsaranta and the increasingly violent battles with the other races, from which the conflicts with the Asmodians, as Zikel was also present during that time.<gallery>
