In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, players will have the opportunity to don green in order to scam a near-sighted Leprechaun, Fergus McGreedy, out of his hard-earned wealth. It's not entirely clear how this falls under the "spirit" of St. Patricks Day, but apparently [[Shugo]] bankers have been working day and night to get their hands on Fergus' money and, just recently, they've managed to find the correct tax loophole that they can exploit to get his cash. Of course, Fergus is also aware of the Shugo's clever little tactics and he has decided that the best course of action here will be to give some of his cash away to his fellow leprechauns.

Unfortunately for Fergus, and fortunately for Aion [[Daevas]], Fergus has also managed to lose his glasses - without which he's pretty much as blind as a bat. [[Aion]] players will have the opportunity to grab some green dye for St. Patricks day (which will be delivered to their mailboxes on the 17th and 18th) in order to disguise themselves as Leprechauns to talk to Fergus. Fergus can be found in the Apellbine and Dionysia taverns of [[Pandaemonium]] and [[Sanctum]], respectively. But be careful! Apparently Fergus also has the ability to bring past memories and stories to life, and if he decides to regale all of you Daevas-disguised-as-Leprechauns with his previous adventures, you may end up in a bit of a scuffle!

In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day, players will have the opportunity to don green in order to scam a near-sighted Leprechaun, Fergus McGreedy, out of his hard-earned wealth. It's not entirely clear how this falls under the "spirit" of St. Patricks Day, but apparently Shugo bankers have been working day and night to get their hands on Fergus' money and, just recently, they've managed to find the correct tax loophole that they can exploit to get his cash. Of course, Fergus is also aware of the Shugo's clever little tactics and he has decided that the best course of action here will be to give some of his cash away to his fellow leprechauns.

Unfortunately for Fergus, and fortunately for Aion Daevas, Fergus has also managed to lose his glasses - without which he's pretty much as blind as a bat. Aion players will have the opportunity to grab some green dye for St. Patricks day (which will be delivered to their mailboxes on the 17th and 18th) in order to disguise themselves as Leprechauns to talk to Fergus. Fergus can be found in the Apellbine and Dionysia taverns of Pandaemonium and Sanctum, respectively. But be careful! Apparently Fergus also has the ability to bring past memories and stories to life, and if he decides to regale all of you Daevas-disguised-as-Leprechauns with his previous adventures, you may end up in a bit of a scuffle!

Fergus McGreedy's Story[]

Fergus McGreedy has lived an interesting life. His eye for gold and wealth has taken him both near and far. His treasure chests are filled with riches from Elysea and Asmodae... even the Abyss itself. Over the years, Fergus has become a well-known character in Atreia; after all, how could anyone possibly miss a leprechaun dressed in a green suit and top hat, lounging around a chest larger than himself?

Unfortunately, Fergus' fame has also resulted in him attracting attention from less pleasant members of Atreian society. Shugo bankers have long sought to get their hands on his riches, but were only recently able to uncover a relevant loophole in the Elyos and Asmodian tax systems. Following this recent revelation, a horde of Shugo tax collectors have started chasing after Fergus, looking to take the wee man's hard-earned Kinah.

Now, Leprechauns have never been particularly fond of people, and under normal circumstances would never give their gold away, but in this rather delicate situation Fergus decided to make an exception: He will give some of his gold away to his fellow leprechauns... but only so he can keep the rest!

Here's where you come in, loyal Daevas. Fergus recently lost his glasses while hiding from a particularly scary Krall tax collector in Poeta, and now spends his days spinning his tales to lampposts, mannequins and empty chairs. He's still desperate to pass on his taxable income though, and rumors abound that Fergus, blind as he is, has been handing out some of his wealth to anyone dressed in green.
