Bastikan

Bastikan is the Brigade General of the Arrows of Destruction who were held captive in the Bastion of Souls. He is requesting aid for a mission to infiltrate again and save all prisoners.

"Do you have any family?

I have a son. Well. He wasn't mine by blood, but you know how it is. He was mine. I found him in a village that haad been utterly destroyed by the Balaur.

He was tucked under the rubble of one of the buildings, too terrified to even cry. I knew taking him in would make my work as a Daeva harder, but I couldn't just leave him there."

"What's he like?"

"Sorry, I have to go."

"Heh, he's always been shy- and a bit scrawny. But I did my best to raise him to be honest and clever.

He always wanted to grow up to help me. He trained himself sick to do it. Finally, he ascended to become a Daeva. I was proud, but I was always conflicted... I wasn't sure it was what he really wanted.

For his first mission, he followed me into battle. It... He didn't-... This is all my fault..."
