How to help out

The Aion wiki needs help from a lot of people just like you, to be an accurate and invaluable resource for the game.

Want to help out but don't know where to start?

• If you need help editing, you could start with Help:Editing or the tutorial.

• Check existing articles for spelling mistakes and factual errors.
• Try improving the various stub articles by adding content to them.
• Another helpful activity would be to check the list of wanted pages for frequently linked-to articles that don't exist yet.
• Always categorize articles you make. Don't know where to categorize it? Check the list of existing categories.
• Don't wait for somebody else to fix a problem you see. If you are able to do it, hit that edit button!

• You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates, some of which are documented on Aion Wiki:Templates.
• To follow the changes to this wiki, and to look out for new users and edits use recent changes. Wiki Activity is also a nice way to follow changes to the wiki.

Things to do

Useful activities Help expand some article stubs. Locate and mark pages that need expanding as article stubs. Create links to some orphaned pages. Upload and add some images! Visit Special:Upload. Add them to a category too, like [[Category:Uploaded files]]. Write a new article that's on the the wanted list! Fix any double redirects by redirecting the first page to the third page. Check for broken redirects and either mark them for deletion or find a more appropriate target. Consider splitting up very long pages into different pages or subpages. Create some links on dead end pages. Add the most recent patch Notes, and ensure articles are amended as necessary. Ensure the most popular pages are of a high quality and accuracy. Add more...
