Adma H

Adma Stronghold (Adma) was a group instance for Asmodian players of level 46 and above, introduced in 1.2. Its entrance is located in the Edge of Torment in Brusthonin (Asmodians) and Anangke Excavation Camp in Theobomos (Elyos).

Originally a destination for the player's campaign and a source of Fabled-grade accessories, (extendable) weapons and Platinum Coin (Asmodian) <Platinum Coin>, it was eventually adjusted into a low difficulty instance that was crucial for fast leveling up, due to the high XP rewarded by its related quests.

In the 6.0 update this instance was removed from the game.

Backstory[]

Situated in the desolate wastelands of Brusthonin , the stronghold of Adma was once a mighty structure of the Asmodian people. Long since corrupted by the evil that has infested Brusthonin, its steel gates now remain barred, hidden behind a wall of undead peasants who attempt to enter it to this very day.It is said to be connected to Old Nahor Castle by a secret passage.

Final Boss[]

Lord Lannok is a rather straightforward fight, using mostly standard Gladiator attacks such as Crippling Cut I <Crippling Cut I>. There are only a few things of mention:

  • Below 75% HP Lannok will start to use Death Sentence, periodically targeting a random player with a 7-second debuff. The party's Cleric must quickly dispell this debuff before the timer expires, or that player will die. It may take multiple attempts to dispell the debuff. Below 10% HP, this skill will be upgraded to Area Death Sentence; at this point, Clerics need to use their DP skills to quickly mass cure the party, which should finish Lannok off as soon as possible.
  • Adds may be periodically summoned. Any ranged adds (Dilligent Pages) must be dispatched immediately, as their AoE Silence skill will leave your magic users unable to attack.

Having defeated the former Lord of the castle, players may loot his body for the instance's main treasures.

Prizes[]

General[]

  • Lonely Fabled Accessories
  • Adma's Heroic Armor

Princess Karemiwen[]

Lord Lannok[]

  • Lannok's Fabled weapons (melee weapons are extendables)

Trivia[]

  • Adma Stronghold originally was an instance exclusive to Asmodian players, with the access point located in Adma Plains in Brusthonin. In later patches a dimensional rift was added so that Elyos players could also run the instance. After the 4.7 update, the entrances were moved to their current locations.
  • Dying inside the instance used to force players to return to their Obelisk, rather than respawn at the entrance. Because of this groups used to set up obelisks just outside the entrance.
  • The instance has received continuous nerfs across the years. Between them, the strength and amount of zombies faced in the sewers and before Lord Lannok were greatly reduced. Later on these adds were removed altogether.
  • This instance was required for Asmodians to upgrade a legion to level 7.
  • In the 5.0 update an alternative version of Adma Stronghold was added to the game: Adma's Fall.
  • On the "level 50 capped" server (only available in certain regions), this instance comes in an alternate version which can be triggered by interacting with a sealing stone at the beginning of the instance. Doing so will make the bosses spawn as alternate ones. Defeating them all will release a special boss (a corrupted being), which when defeated will spawn as its true form, praising the players.
