Walkthrough[]
After getting the quest, go to the Altar of Tiamat. Use the Old Incense Burner, and kill <Infernus>. If you fail, return to Lamir to get another Bundle of Incense. After killing the mob, return to Basfelt Village, and talk to Gefion and Lamir.

- "Monsters! I can't believe it!
- Oh! You scared the stuffings out of me. How long have you been standing there?
- Anyway, I'm glad to see you. I have something to ask of you."
- "And what is that?"
- "Lamir claims to have seen something at the Basfelt Hunting Grounds.
- I don't know what she saw, but she's going to terrify everyone if she doesn't calm down.
- Would you go see Lamir and try to figure out what happened?"

- "Since Lamir told the townsfolk that she saw a monster, they've been really anxious. I think she just saw a Mosbear.
- Please settle this before the rumor spreads further."

- "Oh, I can never go back there. Never, ever again.
- Gefion wants me to keep my mouth shut about the whole thing, but I won't!"
- "What happened?"
- "I went out to the Basfelt Hunting Ground the day before yesterday.
- I went to the Altar of Tiamat and found a bundle of incense that had been dropped there. I saw an Old Incense Burner on the altar, so I burned the incense.
- Then this...creature appeared! I didn't know what to do, so I just ran as fast as I could."
- "Are you sure it wasn't a Mosbear?"
- "Mosbears are not that big.
- You should go and see for yourself. Here, take some of this Bundle of Incense I picked up. There is an Old Incense Burner on the Altar of Tiamat. Burn it there.
- When the creature comes out, kill it, and then let Priest Gefion know, so he'll stop accusing me of hallucinations."
- "On my way."

- "Did the creature appear when you burned the incense?
- Did you kill it?"
- "I did."

- I would have loved if you had brought it back alive...but thank you, anyway, for your service."
Summary[]
Priest Gefion told you that Lamir came back frightened after going out hunting. He asked you to find out what happened. Lamir explained that she saw a creature at the Altar of Tiamat and asked you to take care of it.
When you burned the incense at the altar, an Infernus appeared. You killed it and reported the result to Priest Gefion.
Notes[]
- If you use the Bundle of Incense and fail killing Infernus, the only way to get another bundle is to talk to Lamir.
- Gefion was supposed to have dialogue to remind you to speak to Lamir if you failed to kill Infernus.. That dialogue was supposed to be:
- "You haven't seen Lamir yet? Or is it that you didn't bother to check on this yet?
- How lazy are you that you can't even remember a simple task? It's very important that you handle this."
- "I'm on it."
